In case anyone has been diligent enough to read the paper, yes there has been another bomb in Kandy this morning BUT WE ARE FINE!!!
Seems a bomb was placed on a railway line to catch a train full of school kids and commuters. This has reinforced our no buses/trains approach and perfected our driver hiring negotiation skills. As a result of all this tension, we are literally the only tourists in Sri Lanka it seems. Spotting 'foreigners' is our new past time, although yet to succeed.

Its great to see you're having a great time. I must admit not quite the relaxing holiday you hoped for. HAAHAA. Backpacking mmm see Jen I told you - a nice resort that serves alcohol, a taxi there and back...not tuktuk's.
Now that I'm done pissing myself laughing, I hope the rest of the holiday goes to plan.
Serious note - Look after yourselves and please do take care when travelling. If you need anything ie insect repellant, let me know I'll send you a bottle, cannot guarantee it will reach you in time ;-)
